Welcome!

I’m Seren Soderlund. I’m an ordinary, quietly observant person who cares more than most. For years I watched and listened and stayed quiet when I wanted to scream, because people might be uncomfortable. Not anymore. What I see—too many broken hearts, too many frayed souls—hurts. If things were working, it wouldn’t look like this. These messages have been with me for years; now I’m putting them on the page and opening the fictional world of Seren Soderlund. If a line steadies you and makes you feel seen, it was worth saying out loud. If a line makes you uncomfortable or defensive, that, too, was worth saying. I’ll make you laugh, swoon, cry, and rage through rich, relatable characters and recognisable storylines that touch the subjects we’re afraid to say aloud. My work is raw, unapologetic, and sometimes controversial. I’m not here to tell you how to live—only to make you think about how it could be better. We’ve been taught how to think for centuries; it’s time to think for ourselves and see things as they are, with the filters removed.
